Looking at half-brands, if they aren't worn out to the point where you can't read it at all... looking at the ceiling falling over... looking at the lights blinking as they do their max to not burn out... the feeling of being lost in time since there is no window or way for the sky to reach where you are... One of my favourite songs in the album. It feels like you’ve just endured a long flight to visit your family. It’s late at night and you’ve just got off the plane. The airport is all but deserted, and lit by bright white lights that make your already tired eyes hurt wherever you look. You step outside, and are confronted with the black night sky and cool air, ready to apprehensively carry on with your journey. The surroundings are lit only by the lights from the airport, fading into darkness, where you can see the tree line, and the nostalgic flickering of the red hazard lights on radio masts in the distance. It’s moments like these that make life worth living.
