great job! my setup ended up being a little diff, well with 2 years going by since u posted this video. and I'm on win 10. I just wanted to say that even tho my process was a little diff, I got everything I needed from ur video to make it through NO PROBLEM. so thank you. and to every1 in the comments that cant figure this out. watch the video again. pay attention. and try again. if you cant figure this out, u probly shouldn't be messing around in game files and things like that. thanx again!

right click on the MFSX launch icon on the desktop then chose open file location for quick find of the folder.

I did it, put the planes in the FSX airplane folders, but then when I went to change the aircraft, but then when I went to to change the aircrafts, it somehow does not show up.

he skipped a step you need to open the readme and transfer the aircraft codes to the aircraft file.

+Jeshua Emmanuel Flores Pizzirusso ANYBODY having issues: What sim are you using? Steam edition? I'm 100% sure this works for the Boxed edition of FSX and Lockheed Matrain P3d... For Steam you have to go to your "Steam Directory" then look for the Microsoft Flight Simulator folder/Simobjects/Airplanes ect

you skipped a step you need to write the aircraft's directory. after you install the aircraft you need to open the readme file and copy the aircraft code files into the aircraft file in the sim objects folder. Open the aircraft file in Notepad and past the aircraft codes from the readme into here. Rename the aircraft to the next number in sequence then save the file to write the aircraft to the hard drive. Final step open Flight Simulator and test the aircraft.

I had lots of aircrafts but fsx is not working such ksan to klax trip other then microsoft aircraft can not continnue just before appoach it says you video card running out of memory ha ha 500 GB gtx 980 4.4 GB processor 4790K 4.5 gb but when uninstall all aircrafts except pmdg it did work for this short trip do you now why regards Captan Murray Ayata retire airline captain

It's not really freeware if you have to pay a subscription fee to access the data.

some do and do not have a 3D cockpit view. Try the 2D view if this is the case. Though I try to stay away from the ones with just 2D.
