Getting home from morning cross-country practice in the summer, laying a towel over my bed sheets, and taking a 30 minute nap to this has been a daily summer routine for 4 years now. We switch to afternoon practice next week, and I'm a senior, so tomorrow is the last time I will use this for that. To Dan Hess, thank you so much. You have no idea how much this track means to me.

Oh wow! This music takes me back. My wife and I had just gotten married and didn’t have much money, so buying the 64 was out of the question at the time. To cure this I rented the system with Mario 64 and Pilot Wings 64 from our local Blockbusters. When I became bird man for the first time I just hung out there for a long time, enjoying the free flight, graphics and , of course, the music. My wife got me the system for Christmas (pod racer edition) and I grabbed a copy of PW64 soon after. I still have it, still pop it in to enjoy this section on occasion. Love it! Thanks for posting!

This was the first game I played after I bought my 64 in 97. Had just enough cash to buy a trade in console but not enough to buy any games lol. Rented it from Blockbuster and the first thing I noticed was the music. Leaps and bounds above my snes, What fun times to be alive in the 90s.
@SOMeDoOD19922 жыл бұрын
The whole reason I bought this game as a kid was the OST and the unknown possibilities that this game could bring me, I ended up losing it at some time later in life, but picked it up recently for $10.... The piloting adventure begins again, and we've come full circle.

The 90s were amazing - I was also alive during that time. I remember distinctly being "allowed into the world" somewhere in 1990 so I experienced all of the 90s, a true 90s kid :D Awesome. Pilotwings (on the snes) and then Pilotwings 64 and this level... Amazing times. (sigh) I wish I could relive the 90s :)

Whenever I fly slow in my games, especially at night, I can't help putting this on. It brings me back to those times back when I rented Pilotwings 64 at the local rental shop. Man, I may have been a kid, but I miss it in a way only 31-year-old me could have. I would have undyingly given them my business as those rentals were cream of the crop games. Die Hard, Pilotwings 64, Megaman X, and PS1 version The Game Of Life were just to name a few. "Those were the days," I would think to myself... and then I'd snap myself out of it and realize my life today is far better, with being able to play online with those I love who live an hour away, and even my close friend's friend who lives half of the US away. I hope we get this game on the Expansion Pass so I can share some of the zany joy this game has to offer with friends who don't normally play this kind of thing!
