I watch KZbin for entertainment. I’m entertained by helicopter content. I wholesomely appreciate people who are good at their job. The chap here has absolutely bought me into his dream. His passion, knowledge and charisma is intoxicating.

Your knowledge and commitment, factory layout is very impressive. The guys your showing around have nil enthusiasm which is not good for the video what your telling them is amazing 😳. To manufacture the hole craft is an incredible effort. well done too you.

As a guy who learned to fly in R22s, that HX50 cockpit is the stuff of childhood dreams.

Amazing they are still alive!! Trying to reinvent the wheel is typical a bankruptcy waiting to happen. Some billionaire has become a millionaire now for sure… Not a bad hobby. At least there’s a bunch of people making a living, nobody is hurt. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see them prosper. It took and still takes a lot of optimism (and a ton of $$$$$). All the best!!! I keep following.

Nice insider view of PC1. Couldn't imagine being invited into a facility like this and picking up any machined components without asking first lol.

This is really cool, but as most think, it’s hard to believe you will be manufacturing your own engine, and making it both reliable and affordable. I wish you the best, and certainly hope all goes well with this endeavor.

Very nice. Audio mix was low, you might be able to adjust that after the fact. Were they making their own ball bearings? that's surprising if they do. I wonder why they do that. The turbine bearing prices I got from SKF were quite workable. I was also surprised how casually they make optical quality windows on a seemingly porous mold. It must have a backing sheet that keeps the surface smooth. Maybe under tension.

Why do you think it is not going to happen?
@MaX-ho7gl18 күн бұрын
I think it will come true. In any case, Hill embarked on a noteworthy adventure, from building his own model helicopter to developing his own engine, but I also don't think he would have embarked on this if he hadn't seen the ultimate success. Well done Hill, I look forward to your first flight and your experience.

When you're building your own bearings and turbine engine, something went terribly wrong... Who wants to be the first one to find a design error in the engine?

Hill is good maybe to good at one thing.... marketing and selling the idea... and getting the cash for it... to deliver will be another thing... I hear stories where people are no longer trusting the project and can not get out, basically, delays and promises not been kept, for this reason, I did change my mind about the reservation. Yellow pilots as ambassadors are responsible for sharing the truth about what is going on...

So naive. Developing a new airframe let alone engine requires capital of more than $1 billion. This will end in tears.
