Pilpanen, Rovaniemi Lapland - Sharp Profile in the Labyrinth of Forestry Hills

Pilpanen is a peculiar hill with sharp profile, the name meaning "a spear head", a bit less than 40 km north from the city of Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland. It is located in the southeastern point of the lake Perunkajärvi. The area of Pilpanen belongs to a nature conservation area, so I encourage everyone to hike with great respect to its beautiful old-growth forest. Thank you to: Kati, Jeti & Tinka.
