Cool trick also, you can put a book and an enchanted item into an anvil and it'll strip the enchantment onto the book and keep the item.

@@PilpohMC i just started like yesterday playing this pack, i was looking for leather too i found out that you can place the animal carcas on the ground and knife it then there is some things in the quest something like sticks over a fire and a animal skinning thing where you can skinn the cowhide with shears to get leather It is all in the quests!! They said start reading them 😆

I started playing Minecraft when 1.2.5 cme out. Max enchant back then required 30 bookshelves and 50 levels. Lapis not needed. It was brutal compared to today. I remember installing the mod Better Enchanting because it made the process so much easier because you saw all the enchants and could re-roll. Getting 50 levels back then was a real chore. 1.2.5 was my favorite version of the game. Terrain generation was so interesting; you can find a cave system and it would go on forever. All the biomes would generate relatively close to each other so you didn't have to travel 5000 km just to find a desert or jungle like you do now. It was definitely a tougher game back then. Not as brutal as Beta though. 1.2.5 was the last version that had two different versions of the game as separate executables. There a single-player version of Minecraft and a server version of the game. They merged the two in the following version and the single-player performance has been terrible ever since compared to 1.2.5. I can play every game on high or ultra settings except Minecraft. Forge with shaders tanks my game. So bad. In my opinion, the vanilla version of the gameplay hasn't improved much since 1.2.5 despite all the additions. The only reason I still play Minecraft is because of the mod packs that I can download or create myself. Otherwise, I wouldn't be playing this game except on rare occasions.

I've not opened the vanilla game in well over 10 years now... I started playing before survival was added and you got seeds by hoeing grass blocks. No tall grass back then either! I not even sure sprinting was in the game 🤔 I know a bunch of mates that quit when sprinting was added cause you could run from a creeper which you couldn't before!

Hello everyone…. It’s been a few days I’ve been nose deep in skies expert I made it to the end game quest line now I can start to relax a little bit 🤣🤣

Time to Tom's Storage is probably 20 hours. And you need to have visited the dimensional dungeons (for the silver) the nether (for buddahs hand) and the bumblezone (for sugar water), have an ant farm (for rotten planks), a bamboo farm and a bee farm (for the beekeeper suit). I just got there, and it took me 48 hours (but I played at a leisurely pace, looting 3 roguelike dungeons on the way..) Basically: Instead of going through JEI and wish for (long time) unachievable things, read the quests. And when you find things while exploring, keep them. Do not throw anything away before checking its use with JEI. Do not burn the rotten wood. Keep the Ginger. Also, you get Tin, Lead, Silver and Nickel in the Dimensional Dungeon. So that's what you need to prepare for (the undergarden and nether you can access easily too. So you should). Did I mention the structure compass and natures compass?

I had lots of rotten wood by the time I had everything else. It’s common in some chests when exploring. I did bees passively because I knew I would need a suit from reading the quests but the underground hive can be found with the structure compass. The only thing I really found annoying was the Pearl and if I had just looked at JEI more closely I would have grabbed a bunch and made them diamond level for the best odds of getting a pearl.

Can I just say… having to make a filter to be able to make the white chocolate is a maddening thing and it’s the one objectionable thing I have with the pack. Yeah… ya know gen pointed out that I’m an idiot and you just need to put the one sugar in for the recipe to work without a filter and then you can toss the rest in without issue and put a bucket filter on if you want once that is done. Also the recipe is totally in Jei. I’m not sure why I missed it on the fifth tab in.

@@PilpohMC make crabbers delight crab trap, put in large body of water, put clam chum bucket in, get clams, shuck clams with farmers delight knife till you get Pearl. Diamond qualify always gives ones the others are a percentage.

Random thought popped up in my head. I would love to see a series of you playing factorio, since I did see you start another series with fallout shelter it would be interesting to see you branch out into new games. Even making a new channel dedicated to anything else you would like to do besides minecraft.

I've been thinking about it! I did a factorio episode and it got decent traction too! It all depends because of my full time job, working on my irl house, wedding planning and the 3-4 hours I spend on videos each day already... If I find some time I'll defo do something else, maybe another channel and keep this as Minecraft 😁 Great idea!

20:43 I had 2 of those baloon chests fly above me. 1 gave Ad Astra blocks (13 Marked Iron Pillar, 12 Steel Plating and 11 Glowing Steel Pillar). The other gave 12 experience nuggets from Create as well as 4 enchanted books (Backstabbing 3 + Efficiency 5 + Unbreaking 3; Efficiency 5 + Holding 3; Self Sling + Looting 3; Backstabbing 3 + Potent Poison 3 + Looting 3) which seems a really lovely find early on! Seems that those are a very cool looting gacha to play around with and worth catching 😁 I wonder what makes them spawn/appear and if there is a way to increase it! (If someone knows, please tell us via reply!)

Oh and I forgot to note, but you can shoot the balloon with a bow to make the chest just fall down instead of waiting for it to land and/or chasing it accross the map! Edit: noticed you said it later around the end anyway, since I did comment before getting there 😁

I'm enjoying your playthrough and this might be my next mod pack. Currently playing ATM9. The only mod I would add would be Iron Jetpacks. Flying around in ATM9 has spoiled the heck out of me. I see the Powah mod is in this pack so I'll have a way of powering the jetpack with the player transmitter.

@@PilpohMC Yes, I considered the jetpack to be a mid game thing as I didn't make one until I had enough emeralds for the emerald tier. I'm enjoying ATM9 but sadly I can't say the same for my computer as ATM9 is a very HEAVY mod pack. Hopefully my computer will be happier with this mod pack. Edit: Never mind as I just Googled the mod list and I see the Create Jetpack is in this mod pack.

No, you don't need to break the crops. You harvest them with the hoe.

if u use the cutting broad, learn to have the item in the off hand and the tool in the normal hand, that would work better be course u cant put like armor on with the off hand. What is a fish without i's? fsh 😝

You can also hopper onto the cutting board, use a dispenser to deploy the knife, and a redstone loop with an observer to automate it. I didn’t come up with that… it was in the inferno pack.

I have enough food for at least a few episodes of exploration but when I come to automate everything this will become super handy! (even if i end up using modular routers instead haha) 😁

Okay tip twenty Pilpoh May or may not pay attention to: when you go to the nether fortress there are a bunch of create items in the gate. You need to be careful not to burn them up but there are two water wheels as well.
