As I watch these old Lizzy Grant videos in succession (thanks YT sidebar), this kind of sadness fills me. All her older songs were really great, but have this air of loneliness, sometimes so strongly that I want to hug her (like Pawn Shop Blues). Now she's come out with Lust For Life, with the turn of a leaf and a "hope" for "change." I think she's really come a long, long way, both musically, and I would guess internally.
