So mad that she had to change her lyrics/style because people shitted on her for glamorizing abuse and daddy issues. She is so misunderstood.
@iluvfrogbums85763 жыл бұрын
Fr I don’t think she was necessarily glamorising it but presenting it how it was, how she felt and showing it in a point of view that she saw. You can see clearly in ultraviolence how “he hit me and it felt like a kiss”. She wasn’t glamorising anything, just singing her life. People just shit on her because she’s a woman most the time. Many men sing about doing the abuse and they get praised.

@@cyberwriter21 if you’ve listened to her most recent lives, it’s hard for her to reach higher notes prob because she smokes a lot n that really messes w your vocal chords in the long run. I’ve noticed her voice, while it improved a lot in the studio versions, got a lot like weaker/quieter in her lives. It’s prob just there to support her vocals and when she doesn’t sing. I miss watching her lives when she’d actually sing all the lyrics even if she messed em up haha

it’s chaotic, flawed, and messy. and so…. so beautifully captivating. passionate. draws me in and keeps me wondering what’s next. all at once. - I understand why this performance is criticized. at the same time, I personally truly believe that a performance like this is engaging and captivating. it feels raw and unfiltered as the passion isn’t trickled down through making it more digestible to the masses. I don’t vibe with a lot of her deliveries here, but god damn she has an impressive stage presence and can take you to another place through her lyricism/storytelling
