I went back and played some more after the show. I true testament for how good games are right now.

Your enthusiasm reminds me of why I love retro computing as a hobby. Enjoying a vintage computer game is like sampling a fine wine or slice of aged cheese. I can't get enough of it.

I've always heard about Pinball Construction Set, but I've never seen it in action before. That looks amazing. I always had a lot of fun building my own levels in games. I used to make Warcraft 2 and C&C Red Alert maps a lot, and I definitely had more fun in the Build engine than I ever did actually playing Duke 3D

It’s so cool to see how early games let you design your own content.

Panik was based on an arcade game called Space Panic, which was also the inspiration for Broderbund's Apple Panic and later Lode Runner (a true classic). Also, Bill Budge's games were great!

I remember playing DOOM on an 11 inch black & white monitor. Dealing with those colored key cards led to my insanity.

You can use a CoCo mouse with anything on the CoCo that uses a joystick. Anti-Ballistic Missile Command (a terrible BASIC game, Feb 1982) works well with the mouse.
