I figured that was the case. Funnily enough my friends are actually going even harder on the tables now. Bengerman from the video hit 41st on the leaderboard yesterday. I hit #202 and I just got the odie mode for the first time because it feels like the devil himself created that shot. Thanks for the comment. I've been subbed to your channel since I started playing FX a few months back since you have a bunch of wizard mode and tutorial videos which I was watching to learn how to play better so double thanks. Nclearblack from this same video was recommending your channel in my live stream last night so it was pretty awesome seeing this comment pop up. Keep up the amazing content.

@@JeffersonRedeyes Much appreciated. Part of what I do, other than chase after scores, is observe table behaviors. Slow motion really helps; there's a video out there of how pinball parts behave as such, and that's how I saw the difference with the upper flipper on Garfield. Sometimes, things happen live and when you least expect it.

Nice video man! I wish there was a way to make pinball more social - like having an online hotsest where 4 of you can talk and watch each othet play because unless you have friends round, pinball feela lonely like an offline 1 player game. Even though they have tournies you dont gain or win anything from them and thetes no pop up messages telling you where u finished so once u played them u forget.

I am actually working on a video about social and tournament features I want to see in FX and also there are UI updates coming soon in the next update that specifically address tournaments and making them more accessible so it's something they are addressing. PinballWiz45b and Nclearblack are friends of the channel and they host tournaments and are looking forward to the new tournament UI features and we will probably do more with tournaments when the new features roll out. #OEB8 for Nclearblack's current Circus Voltaire tournament. I'll try to get better about posting them in my community posts after the update lands.

@@JeffersonRedeyes I was not aware they hosted tournies. Is this fx or fx3? I used to watch pinballwiz45 but he seems to have Stuck to fx3 from what I remember of his channel. I'd love to play them. They should upload scores each time a tourny is finished. ;-)

PinballWizard45b streams on twitch and it sounds like he's been playing FX, he's usually live when I am but one of my viewers watches and tells me what tables he's playing while I'm streaming. FX has a tournaments tab and also a challenges tab. You can set up your own tournament or play in other and the challenges allow you to play tables you don't own in a limited basis. They are making a lot of changes in the very near future which is addressed here by the head of table design from Zen kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4ull2Vmes50hNk

The zen original tables I found out the dangers reset over time so if you get a danger and then don’t get another one for long enough the previous danger you got will be gone

Question: Can you stream the free tables on twitch and can I clip those streams for my videos? I would like to be able to show footage of wizard modes and some of the trickier shots like the 6 way combo on Sorcerer's lair when I am describing them in my new videos and I am just not good enough to capture my own footage of that yet. I would give credit and link the channel in the videos using your footage.

I think as long as you don't nudge the table more than 2 time within 10 seconds, you are fine. The danger counter will reset after that.

Would you recommend this over fx3? I downloaded fx3 and been playing Fishtales and its heaps of fun and tried fx pinball and the graphics look worse on Xbox series X and also the articles themselves are more expensive. Also the only games I like are the real life tables like Indiana Jones, Getaway and those are probably the only games.

My expertise begins and ends on PC but given the current state of things this is my advice. Play what feels right, don't invest in tables if the console version has issues. I would recommend next time you're looking for a console get a PC instead. A lot more console exclusives are moving to PC, there are more frequent sales and a PC is just so much more versatile (I use it to edit my videos) and it's easier to mod games to get more value out of them. Whatever extra you wind up paying for a PC you will make up for in game discounts and the next generation Xbox will very likely just be a custom PC anyway, that feels like the direction Microsoft is heading. I love the game on PC and it's running smooth. I'm crushing high scores lately and I just hit the Wizard Mode on Arabian Nights in a tournament for FX and that's the big reason I would still recommend getting FX on console because pinball is inherently social and you might want to play tournaments being hosted on that version of the game but that would still require investing money in tables you think don't look as good on console. Since FX is the latest version of the game it is getting updates so there is a chance that the graphics might improve at least.

I love the garfield table, but I have only played it on Switch and Atgames 4K. I have never seen any of this.

The PC FX version still has a issue with the upper "ghost flipper" My very first ball on the table just rebounded off nothing and shot straight down the drain. The Kickbacks will either fail to launch the ball out of the outlane repeatedly until they turn off and just drain and when they do clear the outlane they will often shoot the ball straight across into the opposite outlane to drain anyway which is exactly how my last game just ended and really the worst part of the table is the Odie ramp which is the dark souls of pinball FX ramps because it's too narrow, too steep and if you don't hit it perfectly most of the time the ball will bounce straight into the outlane for a drain and the absolute worst part is that if you hit the Odie ramp while you're in another mode it doesn't even count towards starting the Odie Treats mode which is infuriating because it is such a difficult shot. This is still easily currently the worst table on PC Pinball FX and I just shot a 90th place game on realistic physics so it's not like I'm just bad at the table; it's just absolutely miserable to play and at least on PC it needs a serious physics overhaul to be worth playing

Sweet love these pinball videos, but man some of the bundles on steam are a bit confusing when picking certain ones

Sometimes there are miltipacks of the same tables. The FX and FX3 versions get bundled togethers sometimes. I also have trouble figuring out which tables are in which pack. Pick the pack on steam and scroll down to the description of the pack and most of the descriptions clearly state which tables are in the pack but sometimes the table names are lumped together in the same paragraph instead of spaced out nicely.

On the xbox there is lag between when you push buttons and when the flippers move, super annoying. Also, I wish Zen improved the physics of the ball, still not realistic enough. My fav table will always be AFM

How does doing a non authentic character in videos work with being the most authentic person? I'd assume a person with high levels of authenticity. Would always be who their authentic self is and never not that authentic self. Regularly playing a caricature of a person for views. Would have to lower ones authenticity , no? Maybe my logic is faulty.

I haven't played it enough to say I don't like it but it didn't really strike me as an amazing table when I did try it.
