This homemade pineapple jam is my personal favourite. I love eating pineapples and I definitely love using the fruit to make sweet treats, including jams.
This pineapple jam is a great way to use up any leftover pineapples you might have. And it’s a great way to use up pineapples that are not quite sweet and therefore not that great to be eaten plain.
This jam recipe is a super simple and super easy recipe. After all, you only need 3 ingredients to make it - fresh pineapple, sugar, and lemon salt/juice. And all you have to do with these 3 ingredients is to cook them over low heat until they thicken to a jam consistency! Easy right?
Ingredients
pineapple -1kg
sugar-850gm
cinnamon-1pc
lemon salt/juice-1/2 sp(if lemon juice -1sp)
pineapple essence-1/4tsp
For making this recipe clear pineapple's skin and cut into pieces. Then make it to juice form and add it to a pan placed over a stove. it is to be added by measuring it. flame to be kept full until it get boiled. then add sugar with same amount of pineapple juice. stir it will to make a thick texture.then add cinnamon to it and stir it.
