I use seasoned stuffing mix or croutons. I mix the juice together with the eggs poured over the bread cubes and then melted butter drizzled over the top. I have made this for many family gatherings and it is what people ask for. My husband loves it.

So so happy to see you are doing a new video. I've just had a bereavement and I came on here to see if you had any new videos as I find you have a comforting presence and baking is my favourite hobby. Looking forward to the new video and hoping that you and your husband and family are all keeping well.

This looks delicious. I have a pineapple dish I make with crushed pineapple and sharp cheddar cheese topped with buttery Ritz crackers....I'm going to try this bread pudding this weekend and I bet my family likes the bread pudding better. Thanks for baking and showing us how it's done.

I wonder if you can buy a fresh pineapple, peel, cut it into cubes, cook it in simple syrup, and make this? I think I'll try it.

@@NanasCookery I have to try it. I have problems getting crushed pineapple (canned, I mean).
@jrt17765 жыл бұрын
I would use fresh pineapple
@NanasCookery5 жыл бұрын
Hi! There's nothing like fresh pineapple BUT there is an enzyme in fresh pineapple that makes it unsuitable for a gelatin mixture or in a baked dish.That's why bakers use canned pineapple in upside down cakes,etc. Nana
@jrt17765 жыл бұрын
@@NanasCookery Thank you! Good to know! Youre such a good person to explain that. It shows in your videos. And, your daughter is good too.
