I use seasoned stuffing mix or croutons. I mix the juice together with the eggs poured over the bread cubes and then melted butter drizzled over the top. I have made this for many family gatherings and it is what people ask for. My husband loves it.

"Don't worry about the marble look of the dough" - is the advise I was looking for! Can you tell me please your opinion also on: Why not whisk water and oil together before adding them to flour, for more even distribution of water in the flour? And why not use a good organic kind of margarine, based on oil, if the oil and water are mixed well in it already?

Wow! Your pie crust recipe was so easy to follow, then your video tutorial ended & I realized I wasn't paying attention. Oops! Seems I couldn't take my eyes off your darling apron covered in ripe, red, raining strawberries; reminded me of the coveted Wilendur printed cotton tablecloths from the 40's that I adore. I much prefer a good pie over a pretty cake. Good thing is, I can watch this again & will be saving your video in my favorites. Thank you for sharing your recipe & techniques.
