I came here thanks to a playlist from one of my best friends .... We lost contact and I just found out she passed away in January and since we lost contact no one told me til now. I've been feeling her everywhere lately and I was going to text her or call her and try and see her and then I found out she passed. I found her KZbin playlists and listening to them is as close as I can get to her now. I remember her showing me this song amongst many others and I smile because she was so perfect ... She was so like me but yet so much herself. She was my person . A connection I've never felt before and will probably never feel again. I miss you so terribly Kat . I'm so sorry. You deserved more then what this world left you with but my goddess you made the best of every moment and you helped create some of the best moments in my life. You deserved better from me , I should have reached out every time I thought about you . I'll never forget your smile , your laugh, your cry, your kindness and your heart. I love you so much . R.I.P Kat This world is so much darker without you ... I don't know what to do knowing I'll never see you again except for in my dreams .

Thank you. I'm doing a bit better but still have bad days and times when I miss her so much it is overwhelming. I actually was just crying listening to a song about her but the fact you commented at this moment shows me shes still here with me. Thank you for your kind words. Hold the people you love very close because they can disappear in the blink of an eye.

Substance never sells 😂. It'd be nice if it did. And it should, but it doesn't. Maybe it'll be a velvet underground story, and people will realize afterwards and just like Lou Reed the bitterness sets in. Or maybe they'll make a catchy hit and it'll blow them up on Tik Tok 😂.

@kingofwandering4815 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert in music/theory either but, I feel like it adds a softer vibe to back up the eruption on "It's the old days", it kinda feels more sincere and innocent when he says "ask you anything." I'm not sure how to explain it but it's that slight flare of change that makes the song that much more addicting for me
