Good thing about this video is that, I see you guys finally put the mic closer to your mouth. To the producer however, here's a tip. When recording make sure that it PEAKS at -12db. PEAKS, means with excited speech it's only -12 DB. Jervis is a very animated person and as someone who knows him personally, his volume varies, so make sure at the loudest, Jervis is hitting -12db. After in post, normalize the audio to -23LUFS. People chose the SM7B is not because it's a great sounding mic or because it's full of clarity and loudness. Don't get me wrong. the SM7B is a great mic, and I do own a few. But the main reason why people chose the SM7B is because it's a darker tilt mic. More warm so it's easy to listen to especially for long form content. So when you want to EQ the SM7B, make it a V-shaped and don't push it too much. My general rule of thumb for beginners, when EQ-ing audio, Don't touch the mids, just play with the low and the highs. If you want another kind of sound, get another mic. If you know what you are doing, then it's a different story.
