Piney Campground in the Land Between the Lakes

In the episode, I meet my brother and nephew at the #pineycampground in the #landbetweenthelakes. Some of the best maps and terrain views of this area are on Gaia at 00:17, 01:44, 08:46, and 09:47. Gaia shows the relief of the terrain, some great hiking and equestrian trails, and forest service roads. Out first night we had a great evening of some wood fired steaks, a nice walk in the campground, and an evening by the fire. There is much to do in the Land Between the Lakes including, camping, boating, fishing, 19th century era farm model, and wild life viewing of American Bison and Elk. We didn't get to enjoy much of what the Land Between the Lakes offers, but this is one beautiful place. Enjoy the video!

I wheeled that area in my Jeep years ago great place.

We had a lot of fun on the trails. We stuck to the Forest Service roads and left the hard core folks to the off-roading park. It was a good time. Thanks for commenting.

There really is a lot to do. We didn’t get to do very much there but we had a good time.

I have never heard of the Land Between the Lakes. That looks like a really nice area.

Jon, I have never heard of it either until my brother told me about it. He really wanted to go off roading and found a nice area with a predictable trail rating system.

They were awesome. I love my steaks cooked on a wood fire. I can handle the cast-iron, but I prefer it directly over the fire.
