"Question for ya" Hey fellow kayaker. I love your kayak setup, and have learned from your vids. I am just setting up my new, jonny bass boat 100, with my new Suzuki 2.5 4- stroke. I'm going to spend next summer on a 700 acre fresh water lake. And this winter setting up my vessel. Mostly lotta camping and fishing trips with my brother, with his be pelican. Just wondering what I can expect for speed, endurance, reliability on the 2.5 Suzuki. I only weigh 135lbs. Won't be not as heavy, as an offshore sea setup. Would love an answer if you have a chance. #10-12 long shank hooks are easiest to remove or #8 sabiki tipped with squid or gulp pieces works great for multiple basis each cast.
