Another lonely miner’s cabin out in the middle of the desert. Built in 1909, this one roomed home is the last remaining building of a once prominent mining camp abandoned in the 1950s. Rediscovered by two men in 1977, it was lovingly restored with many improvements, including a porch and an outhouse. Now volunteers maintain the cabin, which can be used by explorers. If you do pay a visit to this cabin, please remember to pack out all your trash - leave nothing, take nothing, and help preserve this little piece of mining history for future generations to enjoy.
