Wonderful video. Are these showy pink primrose as good for making medicine, evening primrose oil as the yellow Missouri primrose?

Thanks! These really pop up pretty along our slopes. They were a little wet, so a bit droopy, but after they dry out from the sprinklers, they look fanstastic (until they close up for the next day). Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing! I live in Yorba Linda and I've been wondering what these perennial pink flowers are.

You are welcome. Don't pick them, they will just die. So, just enjoy a bit.

Can we benefit medically from it like the yellow one !

I am not sure the Pink Primrose (Oenothera speciosa) is as good medicinally as the regular yellow primrose (Oenothera biennis). However, the pink is used as a nice tea, greens eaten cooked or raw in salads (mostly before the blooms) and it is generally okay for exterior ointments for acne, inflammation and other skin irritations. However, I am unsure if it has the "yellow" benefits for internal gastrointestinal or some female considerations. So, I think 1) Yes some, but 2) not as much.
