I just love how accurate your arrangements are. Its a sign of the level of maturity and respect you have for the composition and the artist rendition. You're obviously very talented, extremely musically intuitive and have high personal standards. All genius qualities that most of us lack in some way, myself included!!. I thoroughly enjoy your arrangements because I don't hear your ego if that makes sense. You're not making any changes to make it easier for you or add anything extra, you are just capturing every nuance you can and doing it tastefully and that deserves some mad respect. More people need to hear you! The future of the music world is going to be ok as long as we have Kent in it!

@beinwithall4 жыл бұрын
I've had this on repeat for roughly 15 times with my headphones on in the dark with my eyes closed. It's that bouncing rhythm, with his right hand its like his whole right arm is a Metronome; I've never heard rhythm with that kind of feeling and consistency from a finger picker. The intonation of those notes he's hitting truly bring that song to life. I'm simply overwhelmed in the best possible way by a musician that is, (in my humble opinion) a once in a generation talent that is single (double) handedly evolving the definition of what it means to play a guitar. Sure, there are a lot of other amazing finger picking geniuses out there that are incredibly talented but this is the first time I've ever come across something like this. I looked up both Tommy Emmanuel 's and Kent's versions of Drive My Car and Lady Madonna and I gotta give it to Kent, his version of those songs sound complete where as Tommy's (Without taking away anything from that incredibly gifted player in his own right) versions seem almost choppy and empty of notes that Kent was playing. Makes one wonder if they could be that good at anything in life. I suppose I shall try to find out. #Motivated
