Born in 77 listened to this music growing up and in 2024 I'm still loving it. Some things never go out of style.❤❤❤

Every time I listen to these beautiful ballads, I go back in time to the 80s, to the lovers of those years and the wonderful memories that come to mind. Today I am 67 years old and I will never stop listening to this music.

I'm 70 and I saw the band in 1967 in Pensacola Florida. They were unknown more or less and were the openers for Eric Burden and the Animals. Syd was still with them. First time they came to America. I have since seen every American tour.

Nor tripping out on LSD, which was when I discovered the Pipers At The Gates Of Dawn album and the Saucerful Of Secrets afterwards by that same little imp who wrote all of the lyrical content to go along with their luxurious soundscapes indeed. The ones that followed were amazing as well, but they lacked something/ someone is more likely- namely Syd Barrett who wrote most of the songs on the 3rd one that came out in’71: Echoes and Atom Heart Mother had quite a bit more than its share of Captain Beefheart in it earlier numbers than the others off of his Trout Mask Replica album which every single person who grew up listening to this type of experimental music is familiar enough with. Did you know that he’s the man who signed Frank Zappa ( obvious enough), but he’s also had a great album from his Zydeco blues era before his magnus opus was unleashed upon the public faster than any of the labs in Wu-Han had done with the Coronavirus test phase’s set onto the world itself; and yes they came up with the cure before they developed the virus so that’s your own government at work from trying to isolate; keep us from going anywhere; forcing people who don’t need it to wear masks which have the same amount of protection as Scott’s Kleenex on your face and people still wear them. Yes, they trust the government to take charge of the World Health Organization so that they can protect us during a pandemic they had planned just as an exercise for the real thing coming soon to a country where you’re living in. Biden’s administration is dirtier than the rest of this sick communist agenda’s ultimate goal; they created this BLM ( run by whites brw); LGBQT has absolutely nothing to do with anything except reducing our economy and it’s population growth. Google: US.GOV and see what’s been happening right underneath your very nose with both Soros and Klauss Schwabb who’s promoting his new book on the subject called The Setback and it’s all the wrong things that both Adolf Hitler and Mao Tse Tung did to their own people; however how they did not go far enough for worldwide condemnation and eventually dominating their enemies and allies alike. They are trying to make the world a place where only them and certain individuals who have making money more obsolete by mailing out credit cards to everyone around the globe whose records used to have to be spic and span clean before the banks would’ve even spat on them and now I just cannot keep up with how many they’ve been sending to me. Also if you have over $50k in any banks, credit unions or CD’s you should invest it all into something they’re unable to touch and take for themselves- Gold coins never depreciate in value and it’s easy to hide. Did you know they’ve given anyone who works for the IRS guns now? Yet they’re trying to ban us the people who wrote the constitution from having anything to protect us once this shite hits the fan; and it will, trust me I did my research on this subject back when Biden was down at 43% yet he was still elected President in a swing state no less full of Republicans who hated him and all he stood for ( or should I say the one before him whose ex Army buddy and now his wife) is going to use her if Trump keeps winning every single state he’s campaigning in. People who hate him don’t follow the logic: he’s an outsider who doesn’t follow the rules because he’s aware of how dangerous and dirty the new leftist elites have become when they set up politics like trying to blame him for the January 6,2020 debacle even if it’s their own party who had security guards escorting regular citizens into the Capitol building and I’ve seen this footage btw otherwise I would have remained a registered Democrat like I’d been for 40+ years. People’s emotions are why they vote the way they do and it’s exactly what these criminals in Washington are counting on. Orange Man = Bad Guy, right? I’m afraid they got their facts wrong this time around and they will run Michelle Obama if Trump’s not assassinated by them before he gets back into office; just like they did with Kennedy ( both) MLK and then put the blame on some foreigners nobody’s ever going to hear from again, but who’d ever believe that they were responsible for anything that sounds so outrageous..? Google it. It’s public record and something they’re not able to supress; like the Clinton’s murdering of Vince Foster which was never investigated and the Biden’s being blackmailed by Zelenskyy into not mentioning the oil companies that both Joe and his son have hidden from their own country outside in the Ukraine and the next virus that’ll be heading your way called Xanadu- like that Rush tune! Great music though, isn’t IT!!❤ David J. Harvard University Professor Of Economics and Philosophy Cambridge, Massachusetts. Please Google:US.COM ffsakes and that’ll depend upon if you’re even reading this text message or not! ❤Cheers nonetheless to you and yours as I’m sure you will want to help protect against the spread of this disease called politics by spreading the word about worldwide corruption and how far it goes back into history (1880’s). Thanks for listening if you did that is? And don’t get Me started with the opening of our borders and the crime rates going up in Amerikkka and even overseas, because every single one of them received housing; money to live on; phones to communicate with; whilst we have thrown our own American veterans who fought for the right to be free out into the streets? Something that should never have happened did go according to their plans for destroying this country and it’s going to spread everywhere and dare I mention the governments

I’m much the same with many of the bands including Pink Floyd I used to listen to on vinyl or gone to a concert, then, lost interest . Then as I’ve matured I’ve rekindled my curiosity to listen again and find I’m really loving them more now than I used to. We change, and become more attuned 🎶🎶🎶 and attentive to the music because it’s now bringing me into a nostalgic moment, it’s the feeling and memories of good times flowing through us 🌟🎶🎶🎶 The difference is that we are different to back then. Few years ago I went to see Pink Floyd tribute band in Folkestone, got the T shirt 👍 Excellent

Yeah, I know what you mean :) I was born in '75 - was basically introduced to them when I was 10 from my mom taking me to see the Wall on a big screen at the college she was attending - that movie really hooked me inside, but being 85 - you couldn't just find it easy! Then I kinda liked the song "learning to fly"(?) when it came out, but wasn't so into it that I ran our to get the record - I was listening to mostly punk. Most of my early years (20's and 30's) I just kind of thought they were too "everywhere"? Living right by a college campus, its like every other person was wearing the dark side shirt and it was annoying! Found the Wall on KZbin a couple years ago (oh, and I did see it on a huge screen on acid when I was 16 at the college) and started listening a bit more.. Got into "Wish you were here" then slowly into a few more songs :) No more acid, and pot makes me wanna move around, not chill out, so I listen to the not "Wall" songs when I'm in a relaxed mood ❤ "Another Brick" is WAY OVERPLAYED on the radio - that doesn't help! They do have great musical skills!
