You know you're absolutely right this is the number one band on the planet in their day.. because they tipped it on its axis the furthest possible.. and they knew that dark side of the Moon would make them Uber gold parachute rich.. even though at the time Capitol records had their apprehensiveness.. thinking that dark side of the Moon would be a one-off 6th month number one chart they didn't expect it to be up there for 30 years or better.. it made the band in all their efforts and the rest of their lives light as a feather never anything more to worry about ever.. and all it took to write that book was a 30-day trip to a small farm

Great notice, thanks for spotlighting such a fleeting moment. Really, those almost seemingly insignificant interactions are the threads that sew times together. Even though they don't get along so well, it's simply and sadly ego from what I've gathered. Nothing is that simple though, and while remaining alive and musical icons, should get past it and just do the f#@&!N6 tour. In honor of Richard Wright RIP. Come on, Roger. If you hear this, call me and we'll talk about it. Was good to see you again in '22, wish you were here. C.

David casually tunes Rogers guitar on stage. Priceless.
@johnbaxter5150 Жыл бұрын
It was always thought that Waters was tone deaf and needed either Gilmour or Wright to fine tune his bass. I saw Pink Floyd on twenty occasions and that happened every time. This was in the days before digital tuners and so you had to trust your ears. I play bass guitar and have a similar problem. I can tune my guitar until it is more or less there but the fine tuning I have to rely on my digital tuner.

Not sure but . The skill David has to find the best note at the best moment when improvising, also how he has a limited vocal range but explore it so well and sing always in tune. I sometimes wonder if he has perfect pitch. This detail tuning the bass on the fly... Seems to be an extra clue to that.

@zigmonger6646 The ol zigmeister says ' not on my watch you dont'. Well zigfreid my boy after about 3+ seconds of investigative journalism I've come to the conclusion that I'm gonna give karen a pass. Firstly, Based on her last name and a bit of genealogy footwork I've come to the conclusion she may have family ties to the temperate foothills of the Italian Alps, where prominent, world renowned vineyards are farmed and enjoyed. Conclusion: She's partial to the vino. I posit that one evening whilst imbibing a bit too much she stumbled upon this video and, in a foggy stupor, decided to regale the KZbin community with what was, in her mind, a flowing rainbow of dancing verbiage, undulating through the synapse, releasing a waterfall of dopamine to the would be reader. But in fact it was word vomit. Unbeknownst to her, the watchful eye and stickler for the meaning of the almighty word, zigmonger, lay in wait. Locked and loaded, ready to right the heinous, the reviled, the would be wordsmiths, he pounced. Indeed - all heroes do not wear capes. Conclusion: Whilst falling short on her attempt to enter the halls of literature's finest, Karen is in fact, a true fan of Pink Floyd, and should be thoroughly and without prejudice, forgiven her faux pas. Good day sir and PEACE!
