David Gilmour is one of the best of all time, on a short list for sure. He's not known as a shredder, and a lot of folks downplay his skills as a result, but he can play fast when he wants to. But his style is all about tone and fitting the guitar to the song. Plus he's the GOAT for string bending, he can hit the note he's bending to precisely, without error, every time. Nobody else can do that the way he can.

That opening guitar intro is amazing, David Gilmour is as good as it gets. Great song with real meaning, they hit the mark always. A shout out to the ensemble that helps them make utter magic on stage. Now my dear, time to see them in their prime and view them doing Echoes, Live at Pompeii 1972 but make sure you do Parts 1 and 2 to get the full song, it opened and closed the documentary concert film. You will see them in their 20s and getting set to conquer the world. Amazing concert in the ancient Roman Amphitheater. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

My son is born in 2009 and Comfortably Numb and Shine On You Crazy Diamond as his favourite songs. That’s 3 generations of fans. And also there are many reaction videos from people who have just discovered Pink Floyd and I want to congratulate you all on discovering one the world of Pink Floyd because it enriches your lives. Thank you for great reaction videos. I’m always happy to see people fall in love with Pink Floyd. Suggestion for you: Shine On You Crazy Diamond from the same PULSE live album.

Hello, hopefully you read this message. I find your reactions very beautiful and pleasing. I was one of the lucky ones who went to see this concert live back in 1994 in Basel, Switzerland (twice) on August 5 and 6. NO CONCERT has ever being able to match Pulse. I suggest you look at the concert from start to finish (or reacting song by song) in order. That way you will see the development of the stage and the aura that sets over the audience. Your life will never be the same. That concert changed my life in a very good way. Marc Brickman was the lighting creator for this tour. It has been the only time in history that a stage and light designer has received literally a blank check to create something. In today's DNA we have lost the musicality that reign 30 years ago and that is why performances like the entire Pulse tour are still relevant and super important in today's daily life. Please let me know if you read this message. Thank you, Mario Sorani

Hard to go wrong with Pink Floyd! Their live performances are always top shelf. Live Floyd, with few exceptions, is the way to go. Comfortly Numb is a given classic. This song is pure passion. Gilmour at his best. But he's always at his best. He plays the blues, and that's what most metal bands lack. Rock is blues with lots of pedal. Without soul, it's just noise. Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck and David Gilmour pioneered this sound, the sound that Metal was built on.

As you already mentioned the talented background ladies, I suggest you go for "The great gig in the sky" from this concert. Originally it's from the album "Dark side of the moon", sung by Clare Torry, who needed just two takes to sing it (because she wasn't happy with the first one, although all members of PF already couldn't find any flaw on the first take). Funny, how the lightshow still impresses people, as this is almost 30 years old now, and many techniques have been adopted by other bands. Imagine, how it was back then. We literally felt, a spaceship was coming to town.

I haven’t seen anyone comment yet on the fact that Pink Floyd is probably the most famous ALBUM band, in the sense that, at least starting with Meddle in 1971, their albums were meant to be listened to as a whole, complete experience. They have a central theme, and often songs fade into the the next one, with no break. Their album, Dark Side of the Moon, released in 1973, holds the record for most weeks on the Billboard Charts……917 weeks………about 18 years! I would suggest going through Dark Side, track by track (unless you can do the whole album as a reaction, but that’s usually reserved for Patreon or Ko-Fi) and then once you’ve listened to each track….listen to the entire album, uninterrupted…..for yourself.

One of the extraordinary things about this Pink Floyd 1994, "The Division Bell World Tour, is the massiveness of the tour itself. Pink Floyd was always distinguished for their elaborate live performances, and this Pulse Concert at Earls Court in London, in October of 1994 was no exception It is one of the last few shows of the 1994 "The Division Bell" Tour. Everything you see onstage, including the lighting, lasers, sound system and the whole stage itself, was owned by Pink Floyd, and there were 3 identical stages, they needed 3 stages because of the time it took to setup and tear down each stage and all the equipment. It took 3 days to set up everything, (load-in) and 2.5 to tear it all down, load-out. Since the Tour ran from March to October, and was like 117 concerts, in 68 cities, in 17 countries, they absolutely needed 3 stages. The stages, modeled after the Hollywood Bowl, leapfrogged across North America and Europe in 1994, so when the band got to the next city of the Tour, everything was all ready to go. It was the largest tour ever to that point, and a massive logistic coordination.
