Their voices are so elegant, polite, even sweet sometimes. So good to hear it.

Vintage Vinyl Vets - There was a (literal!) Record store, in New Jersey, called "Vintage Vinyl".... They don't exist anymore, but I do very clearly remember, the extreme excitement in the early days of 1994, waiting for the U.S. release of THE album! If I'm not mistaken, my first copy was on cassette, and my next was the British limited edition translucent blue vinyl....there was ( believe it or not!) some slight rumor, even up until the day of the release, that Roger might be a surprise contributor to the album....alas, he was not.....and the penultimate song seemed like a hidden gem....

One of the great privileges of my life was seeing Floyd at Earls Court that year - the real shame is that they only had Live 8 after that to showcase that they were still the greatest live experience on the Planet.

Oct 94 I went to 2 shows at earls court if you went to any of them shows(except the 1st)then you'll know what I mean when I say AMAZING POWERFULL AND BEAUTIFUL the sound was so intense and yes I went to both not stoned or anything because I didn't want to ruin the experience (throwing a whitey).There will never be a band like this again so I'm honoured to of been there.

the album which litteraly changed my whole life in that spring of 1994...since than there's before and after the division bell...I don' think that even the members of PF have imagined that they produced something that impacted deeply someone else's life...

Except it really wasn't. Like, even if you like it, you have to admit it's more U2 than Pink Floyd.

@@nectarinedreams7208 U2-lol. Not even close. Just saying input came from from 3 members not just one. Not an insult to Waters at all. I like all Floyd timelines and tunes. Cheers.

While a hell of a lot better than Momentary Lapse, The Division Bell wasn't half as good as Amused to Death. I think this Red Beard fella was being kind and a little sycophantic. Or maybe he was just trying to get good answers.
@guilhermetonon7267 Жыл бұрын
Amused to death has good songs cause they are alike PF. So they are alike something that David and Richard made. The other songs are trash.
