After saying they were no 'bloody good' at singles by Roger waters, Floyd had a UK no1 chart hit with this song at Xmas 1979. It charted into the New Year 1980, I've often thought it was appropriate that the song to 'end the 70's' was one by Pink Floyd. BTW...great you did the good version, one is doing the rounds on the net with a rather ugly obvious edit in the build up which ruins it.

This is 1 of 5 songs Pink Floyd are allow to play from the Wall. Roger left in 1985 with all the rights to the Wall . Roger in 2007 world tour had a local kids sing it on stage with him. @@AceofBadeReacts intendo che il video che hai scelto da una visione d'insieme e da lontano mentre quello che piace a me ed è quello più visto e più scelto dai reactors è molto più spettacolare nel mostrare gli effetti speciali delle luci e più particolareggiato nei dettagli su ogni musicista e sulle coriste che rivestono un ruolo importante e qui s'intravedono appena. Poi ...che il brano sia perfettamente eseguito non ci sono dubbi comunque venga ascoltato. Ma i Pink Floyd sono famosi pure per lo show che offrono.

Check out "the great gig in the sky" from from the pulse concert. I think you'll find that they're not there as dancers. 👍
