I was in Carter Finley Stadium in 1988 at 16 years old with several of my high school mates from Greensboro NC. Best show I have ever seen and so glad I was there as I have been to a lot of concerts and have yet to go to anything like it since.

David Gilmour/Pink Floyd played in Denver Colorado Mile High Stadium on this tour. Pink Pig came down from far end of stadium. Above the fans heads was a pink pig, totally unreal and unexpected. Seems like yesterday when they were here, somethings really are timeless. Thanks PF.

I was there to see them at Carter Finley Stadium in Raleigh, NC. Was and still is the best show I have ever seen. Glad to say that I got a chance to see them live! Great memories!

Went to see them at Maine Road Football stadium , Manchester City's ground, Manchester, England, UK on the 08/08/88, My Grandad bought the ticket for me for my 21st birthday present, It cost £15.50, and to this day I have never been more thankful for a gift than I have with this, never ever seen anything like It before or since that even comes close.

I was there as well, same as you I will never forget the show, superb sound, speakers higher than the stand roof and a lad sitting on a wall at the back with a green laser straight at his chest!! Great memory.

Yup, was there too, after seeing them at Wembley a few days earlier decided they were too good to not see again. I was 19 at the time. Remember swirls of smoke from the "interesting" cigarettes floating round the stadium!

1988 I saw them at Foxboro stadium..in mass..this guy crawled out on this cable 100 feet in the air to free the blown up pig that got stuck...the crowd went wild...it was a momentary lapse of reason...hahahaha

This was the first time I ever seen (88) Pink Floyd well at least 3/4 of the band with my best friend who died 5 years later at least we were able to share our love for this band this will always remain a special experience to me. I have been lucky to turn my 12 year old son to one of the greatest rock & roll band of all time to keep our love of this band going for generations for time to come. Thank you for whoever shared this video. It brings back very fond memories

I was there. (An 18 year old Scottish lad, I hitchhiked from Ayr in Scotland to Maine Road stadium in Manchester. I met a lot of people from Ayrshire there before the concert, totally magical.) It is 30 years ago tomorrow. I remember the concert like it was a few years ago. My first big Gig. I love Pink Floyd. I appreciate that you have put this video on youtube. I was at this one from almost the same vantage point. Had to be within five rows of these folks. Great day, clear skies, 80 F, n smoking bowls of hash with the locals. The brits have the most polite crowds. Miss ya London!

this was my first time as well ,I saw them in Denver,Co At Mile High Stadium ,I had camped out, on the side of Mcnichols arena,for 4 days to get these tickets I bought 10 tickets for $20 a piece ,ended up with 10th row on the field me and 9 friends,would have had front row ,if I would have bought 2 tickets ,shod have seen all the party goods I took to the show ,but I ended up taking nothing ,because I wanted to remember the ,and remember the show I do ,and especially when I watch this concert, Greatest show ever and I have been to over 200 shows in a 41 year period, second greatest was Queen 1982 at Mchichols Arena, I still have the Queen and Pink Floyd tour shirts ,plus well over 100 more ,I saw Floyd again in 1994 ,but I will always pick the 88 show as my all time favorite

I was 17 and saw them on this tour at the rosemont horizon near chicago IL. I had seats on the side of the stage where the female backup singers were. I spent half the show staring at Rachael Fury. Teenage hormones, LOL

Which city is this? As a Merch & Security guy for idk, pushing 500 shows, maybe...damn idk, 40-50 tours, I did most of both Momentary & Delicate Thunder tours. I was 20 yrs old at the beginning of things, starting with U2’s global/3 stage Joshua Tree tour. Was Insane, esp since we had same ALL ACCESS passes as the band, could go anywhere but on stage during a performance, not like we would anyway. We also had 2 After Show passes Each, to Meet the Band...insane, and insane the, well, Requests? “Offers”😏 Myself, I did no exchanges, just gave them to cool people. Esp Mom’s with their kids esp girls. I’ve had hundreds of them just frickin’ Lose it at my merch srands. Because they were about to meet their Idols, like 4 U2, tours, Def Leppard (Hysteria aptly makes), 3 Motley Crue’s beginning with Girls, Girls, Girls - we actually rocked it in Atlanta AT “Tattle Tails/Tales” whatever, with the name, mgt, my boss at the next table to all us “Lieutenant’ table. We were quite popular, esp passing thru my home town - but geared up all merch & rock tours MultiPasses lol. Anyhoo, the reaction of the womenfolk to meeting Jon Bon, Garth, GNR, Metallica, Stones, Pink Floyd, NKOTB-Backstreet Boys-N’sync (yes, Walhberg & Timberlake always walking around, like Bono & many others)...Grateful Dead, REM, B-52’s, gawd I have no idea, such a blur. These Floyd shows were Crazy cool, and I was raised on such, Now I’m 53. Anybody remember the monstrous Bed that opened up a certain tour? Btw, which music was playing nobody was buying Merch...so we’d mostly go side stage & watch show, or stand with local & tour security guys right there. I don’t hear so well. I’d say half the damage came from Axel Rose’s interminable sound checks. I used to hang out lots with the sound guys, and man... Appetite for Destruction & the next two were wild as F and kickarse, though! ✌🏼 #glorydays

Did they have trouble projecting the concert film for 'Signs of Life' onto the screen?

I believe this was a 35 mm film rear projection. Because of the visual angle we could see better or worse. I remember when I was in front of the screen the result was much better. Regarding the concert film for "Signs of Life" during this particular show I am afraid you are right. Unfortunately there is no evidence of film screening and/or lights on the screen during this song

it was the 1988 world tour, they did it again in 1989. This footage, in particular, was filmed during the 1988 tour. I saw them in different towns. Going to check if I can find more records. Too many years have gone by.
