The Kate Bush album, to which Roger refers, is Hounds of Love. The track on which the helicopter sound is used by Kate is called Waking the Witch.

David Gilmour and Kate Bush were friends. I dunno if he played on Hounds of Love but it's hard to miss his signature sound on the Love and Anger album by Kate.

It’s an homage, which is safe under the law. There are zero Beach Boys melodies in the homage, so there is no case to be made.
