I live in Surprise, AZ. I just try not to set foot outside in the summer longer than it takes to get from car to store to car to house. I feel bad for my kids, though. Summer here doesn’t mean what it means to kids elsewhere. We stay pale and pasty. 😂

Yes we have Aldi in the UK but we don’t have everything you have and visa versa we have stuff you don’t. We also have Lidl but Aldi carry more choice. We also have Asda which is owned by Walmart., as well as Tesco, Morrisons and a couple of others including separate frozen food supermarkets, and Costco but that is business owners only. Both Lidl and Aldi are German and neither play mood music in their stores in Europe but they do in USA

@@susanolds8097 Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons all sell some halal meat from non stunned animals, so unless you know where it comes from it’s difficult to know which is halal slaughter and which is from stunned animals

Mostly what we personally like. It has to live in the shop if it takes awhile to sale. But sometimes if it’s a good piece that we know will sell we scoop it up.

Jamie, I don't think I've ever seen a rolling pin old or new with a pink. Any color other than red green? Yeah, I've never really seen. Maybe you could add black. I've never seen a black one, but a black 1 would be more down-the-line to work. But anything that looks like off-white of a pink. I don't think. That, unless you really, really like pink.I don't think it would sell.Maybe you know more than I do but I wouldn't, if it was me and I was getting one even if I had picking my kitchen, I wouldn't want it to be painted.I didn't want it to be the more color that what they used to make them way back in a day

If IOD doesn’t start posting their release dates at the beginning of the year I’m going to just use Prima Redesign exclusively. I’m tired of all the cloak and dagger and waiting around for the big tada from IOD. It’s marketing sure, but it feels unfair to their loyal customers who just want to get on with their crafting decisions.

I was painting with milk paint while watching and I lightly sanded off the chippy pieces but when the big top was just drying more paint chipped off than what I was expecting lol I thought once sanded and sealed we would be good. Have you had that happen? Like do I just seal again after sanding this new chipped portion? I wonder if the wetness from big too reactivated the paint or something

It’s the big top. Any liquid can make it chip more. If it starts to get chippy I seal with wax. And also the paint does have to dry all the way usually a few hours to know exactly how much is coming off. In your case I would sand some more to remove the chips and then just coat with some clear wax.

@@JamiRayVintage thank you! I love the color "willow" too, but it says the milk paints have a milky smell to them. I can't stand milk, sorry Zeb, the smell nauseates me. Is there another paint that is close to the "Willow" color?

Vintage mint in cottage color is probably the closest to Willow but it won’t be the exact same. It’s the all in one paint with a built in sealer. That or mint chip in DIY clay paint.

When you get these items that you paint do you wash them before hand or just paint over how they are?

Most of the time we run a damp rag over them to remove any dust or grease. Sometimes we miss price tags and we have to take them off with a razor blade. If they are really dirty or greasy then we have to get out the scrub brush

the 'al' in aldi is pronounced more like an 'awl.' they're in the midwest too. their sister store is trader joe's. the dark chocolate peanut butter cups at trader joe's are addictive. much better than reese's.
