DIY Autumn Leaf Bowls - Easy Home Decorations Tutorial - Air Drying Clay Decor Craft

Nature has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. The Earth has music for those who listen.
Like I wrote in my video: "Autumn is like a second Spring when every leaf is a flower". I was always amazed by the magical brush with which Fall is coloring its leaves. So while walking in the park I asked myself how could I preserve some of this beauty forever and decorate my home with it. I got the idea that I could make exactly the same leaves out of clay and make some beautiful decorations.
I went to the local shop and bought some air drying clay. You can also make clay at home which I can show you how in some of my next videos.
1. The clay I used in this video is amzn.to/2BPzdDB
2. Stainless Steel Precision Knife: amzn.to/3gztpwD
3. The acrylic colors that I use are from the brand called REEVES myreeves.com/e... and they are my favourite but you can also use other brands. Example of the colour I am using in this video you can see here: amzn.to/2ZKjJJ5
4. Universal varnish in a spray that I am using in this video to fix the colors amzn.to/2Z5u9Uf
Quick Tip: When you are rolling out the clay try to leave it at least 5 mm thick because otherwise when the clay is going to dry it will break.

El otoño es realmente una época del año hermosa y colorida en la que la naturaleza nos brinda mucha inspiración para todo tipo de proyectos diferentes. El spray que estoy usando es solo un barniz mate normal. Yo lo uso para proteger los colores y es mucho más fácil y rápido pintar los cuencos con spray que a mano con brocha. Pero si no lo tienes no te preocupes. Puede cubrir su trabajo simplemente con un simple esmalte de uñas. Diviértete y sé segura! ❤️

One day is enough even though the clay dries already in the process of making but it is always better to leave it overnight to dry completely. Hello Rajesh. Glad you like my video. Yes, I have an idea! You could make the shapes you want but with a thicker layer so that you can make holes at the back of the leaf. So when it dries you can hang them on the wall like you hang paintings. Whoa, 200 leaves is a lot 😨, but if you start now you will finish earlier :D I would really like to see your project. It sounds interesting.

La masilla que estoy usando no es una masa de porcelana, aunque sería el mejor material para usar pero no tengo la estufa para ello. Entonces, en este video, estoy usando una arcilla de secado al aire. Puede encontrarlo en casi todas las tiendas más grandes o tiendas de pasatiempos. Can we make this from homemade clay of maida??? Is it durable???

You can make it but after some time it will fall apart because of the salt that people usually put in the homemade clay. But if you are able to make some good quality homemade clay it will definitely work out for you. There are a lot of good clay recipes on the internet. You can also make it from homemade papermache clay. But don't try to wash it in a dishwasher, any type of clay 😊
