@kimberlyshultz5689 ай бұрын
It will be 6yrs in June since my daughter passed away... the pain from grieving is still so RAW at times. There have been many moments that I've felt so alone in missing her that I just want to get away from everything! This song truly speaks volumes of how I feel in the rawness of my grief! It's something that many people in my life just don't understand.
@vickisalmon78406 ай бұрын
I can relate to this profoundly and deeply. 4 years for me and I agree, it doesn't ease. Someone once said that grief is love with nowhere to go... 'Glass half empty and discontented from growing old, from all the failed attempts at trying to belong, I overthink the obvious when I'm along... but when the lights go up I don't think I told you, I dont think I told you that I feel out of place, so pull me underground. Don't know if you noticed, sometimes I close my eyes and dream of somewhere else... anywhere away from here, anyway away from here, anyway away from here' ... when I close my eyes I wish I could disppear'... Xx❤xx Life must, and will, go on. But it's a battle every single day.

There is never goodbye when there is love. Sending healing love and prayers, when this song resonates you must also try, please try, to have the hope that there are No Goodbyes, just temporary separation, we are never alone. Although it feels at time we are, nature will tell you this too, the birds, the animals all messengers when our loved ones seem gone, and we can't feel them, nature will tell us they are here, nothing good that ever lived - dies. ❤

Roughton Reynolds of Enter Shikari should definitely be one of the best male vocalists with all he does, screams well and better over the last 18 years evidenced by live performances of Solidarity but if you enjoy P!nk's rock albums then would suggest The Spark, its their softer album but heavy lyrically, would give a warning about emotions in An Ode to Lost Jigsaw Pieces though, there's some acoustic songs, even did System/Meltdown at the NME Office and Meltdown includes 2 dubstep breaks which sound nice acoustic, they're the opening tracks to A Flash Flood of Colour which is a bit more varied vocally and instrumentally, would say it's their second least screamed album after Spark being #1. They give good messages in songs.

Just because someone is giving a piece of their soul in the form of content, doesn't mean people have to like it or not criticise it. I can acknowledge that the song is powerful and that their singing is good but I did not enjoy the song. I gave it a listen and it is not my type of song, therefore even though I haven't pressed the dislike button, I am entitled to do so if I want to because that is my oppinion. Just because something is subjectively good for you, doesn't mean it is subjectively good for everyone. We are entitled to our own opinions.
