I have heard many songs of Abhijit Bhattacharya and his voice in 80% of the songs in 90s is very hard to bear(yes bear not hear) as it is very heavy and seems like some animal's voice and only in early 2000s movies, his voice looks good like in Main hoon na, Chalte Chalte so I don't know whether his voice improved after 90s or it was due to technology that his voice looks far better in early 2000s songs but one thing is for sure that he was far behind Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam in terms of popularity and success and hardly has 20 superhit songs but behaves like he was the best singer of his time.
