Pinnacles National Park // High Peaks Trail and Condors!

In this video we take you on the best hike in the park. We started on the Bear Gulch Trail and made our way to the High Peaks Trail. We hoped to experience the character of the park in one hike and we did. The highlight was the encounters with the California Condor, the largest flying bird in North America. Close to extinction a few years ago, it's now making a comeback and Pinnacles is playing a huge role in this endeavor.

awesome video (especially the close-ups of the condors). i was there yesterday and agree with you regarding the so-so scenery on the Blue Oak Trail. I started there as opposed to the clockwise direction which was heavy with traffic.

Hi, rattlesnakes can reach about 1/3 of its body lenght. Just live them alone just like you did. Thank you. I love this park. Visited it few weeks ago but didn't have luck with snakes. Just campground deer, wild turkey and one bat in the cave. I enjoyed your video a lot.

Hello! We were there May 24th and the weather was ideal. We took 5.5 hrs to complete the hike. We stopped a lot to record video and the condor encounters slowed us down too. It can be done quicker for sure. Thanks for the nice comment and I hope you are able to experience the park someday 😊🇺🇸.

I can never get that far up but go at dusk cuz I live near there often. I see the condors flying with my binoculars. What was the ratio you think of Turkey Vulture to condor u saw flying in that one video clip in beginning of ur video
