That was my kayak. I didn't realize you were you...been watching your videos for a while now. So it was cool meeting you, even if I didn't realize who you were. Thanks again for the help! By the time y'all came along, I had pretty much written the boat off as a loss. Believe it or not, the dent actually popped out after I got it back home. The boat is totally fine now. I have paddled that boat a ton over the past 2 years....it has performed like a champ. Not sure why folks bag on Jackson...outfitting is better than anything else I have paddled and the plastic seems plenty strong/resilient to me.

Oh wow really thanks for watching buddy glad I could help out. Yeah Jackson plastic is some of the best out there today..

@@WadeHarrison unfortunately it was my kayak stuck on some rocks out in the AR River my first time trying to paddle it 👀 I was just standing on the bank like a DA with my paddle and he came by and freed it up for me

Glad nobody hurt. Did the pinned boat have float bags? Seemed like the perfect random spot where the boat seemed to just fit.

Yeah he dropped it from the bank and it just locked in there I didn’t see it happen I just paddled up in this group trying to get it out

Did you consider/discuss...Human dam it upstream side to reduce force of current thus reduce force of friction during lift, but only if no sieve potential and upstream shallow enough? Maybe try to use float bags from another boat to fill the cockpit space and displace the heavy water prior to lift? Not as simple but could save someone from back injury.

I paddled with Ace Kayak School a couple years ago. Morgan was my instructor, she is great, and overall I think Ace Kayak is a great organization. What river is this? As always you are the man Wade. I paddled with NOC a year before I paddled with Ace and Blue was my instructor there, If I remember right, he said he knows you because I mentioned I liked your KZbin channel.
