यूरोप में सूखा पड़ा है, नदियां सूख रही हैं. अमेरिका में पानी की भारी कमी है. चीन में यांगत्से नदी सूख रही है. पूर्वी अफ्रीका के देश सोमालिया में सूखे की वजह से 10 लाख से ज्यादा मवेशी मारे जा चुके हैं. यूरोप में करीब 63 फीसदी जमीन सूखे का गंभीर खतरा झेल रही है. वैज्ञानिक Drought 2022 के लिए जलवायु परिवर्तन को जिम्मेदार मान रहे हैं. दुनिया पर सूखे का असर कितना बड़ा है, जानिए इस वीडियो में.

इस वर्ष बिहार के सीमांचल क्षेत्र में वर्षा नगण्य रही है।झारखंड सूखे का सामना कर रहा है।IMD की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भारत के 85% जि़ले सूखे का सामना कर रहे हैं।हालाँकि भारत सरकार "अटल भूजल योजना","कैच द रेन कैंपेन" आदि योजनाएँ चला रही है लेकिन हमें खुद जल संरक्षण पर काम करना होगा।

I come from the Eastern Indian state of Jharkhand. My family has been into agriculture for almost two centuries. In all my life, I have seen seasons of good harvests and bad ones. No matter how bad things were, we managed to get a modest harvest in the end. But this time, things are different. There was no rain in June and July, which are the peak months of the paddy sowing season. There are no irrigation canals in our area, and we cannot rely upon groundwater for irrigation due to the mountainous geography of the place. To this date, we have sown only around 5% of what we would have sown normally and the sowing season is almost over.

I can see around me the forests and Jungle are disappearing every passing day in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The forest cover has reduced drastically in the past 20-25 years and government is turning deaf to it. Never go by government records, believe what you see.

One of biggest failures of Indian government is that they are unable to stop cutting of Jungle and forests. Madhya Pradesh government provides free lands to those live on those lands for few years, this results in more and more people cutting trees and occupying the lands illegally then it is given to them legally.

Today world is finding solution in capitalism.. and basic of capitalism is increasing consumption and hence utilizing nature's resources beyond their natural limits leading to imbalnce of nature in all spheres from water to land to air to space. Economy has become 1st priority and ecology has left behind somewhere. Man is damaging the basic elements of his own life. When I remember my childhood ,I found that 20 yrs ago in my area Jamui(Bihar),more than one month rains are raining but now,it hard 5 days,not in the form of cats and dogs
