I can confirm that I have used Game Maker for years that it is a good software to use for game development, its simple for me to understand and it allows me to make a game in probably a few seconds with dragging and dropping (Game maker was also used to make undertale & Pizza Tower). Amazing video btw!! The animation and the passing in this video is amazingly top notch. There is effort Ive seen even the smallest details like the kitchen knife stabbed into the scribbled on paper on the wall, or the subtle glowing eyes on ayroron's character. It must of took like months to create this video, I hope to see more great content in the future from you!! I thought I recognized one of the people from a Jschlatt video and Im glad I got to see them in this video! PS: I love the dunkey reference you put in aswell!
