Awesome. This was a rare and special performance. Sohyang sang the male part in the climax, which is high for a female to sing, and she did it flawlessly. 🔥 Love it.

At a concert late last year, the duet sang this song again. She was 46 years old and showed the same voice quality!!

They say they have been friends since youth, probably meeting through singing at church. As you can see, he is a classical music major. I'm not sure why he often leaves the male high notes to her-perhaps it's to avoid strain as a baritone, or maybe she wanted to experiment. Anyway, I'm not certain. Sohyang can easily hit the high A notes, but it seems she just used head voice for the flow of the song. Nonetheless, it's also great. Sohyang is mostly self-taught in vocals, yet she can use head voice at a level comparable to a graduate student majoring in classical music.
