Another thing you can do after the wood grain dries, if you want to emphasize the individual boards look; get a circular saw, and set the depth very shallow, like 1/8". Then with a straight edge to run against, put a very thin groove between the "grain boards" and it will make the finished product look like shiplap or tongue and groove boards put together. It makes the individual board design stand out even more.

The Company is wondering why their sales have gone up in the last few weeks for this Woodgrain Tool - I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that bought a set in the last couple of months. Of course I failed miserably on my first attempt "How the heck did he do this..." (rushed back to your channel to find the video). You are the Woodgrain Master. Oh and this sign is awesome, love the different fonts

Can this be done with the feeder with the xTool p2? Of course if the backer is cut at the hardware store with the panel saw.

question about using mdf, for an outdoor project. does the paint add enough protection for it? great project!

I keep saying I don't need the woodgrain tool..... But I might bite the bullet. Also... the whiteboard still cracks me up.

Kim and Garret did you know in the width and height you can actually do mathematical formulas in these fields instead of using calculator. Give it a try it’s awesome

Oh! We've never tried that! Thanks Steve!

Nailed it for sure. I am motivated to try the wood grain tool again. Great tip about cutting the trim pieces at the store. If I am gluing say basswood to MDF, should I use wood glue or StarBond?
@myhoneyshandmade10777 ай бұрын
I would recommend wood flue..titebond 3 is for outdoor projects

I love this but I have a question about the backer board.I do not have anything to score the letters on the backer. Can you recommend an idea for me putting them on the board. or is tha a dumb question for you all. By the way every kit i bought they are finished. thank you so much.I could just put them on one word at a time but then you also said don't keep them in there for completely dry.
