I Always put me a good amount of bread and butter pickles on the side of my pinto beans and cornbread. It's delicious! If you've never had it this way, try it once and see what you think and leave a comment as to how you like it as a side. Mmmmm. It's really good with a serving of greens with this meal also!! 💛❤️💜🍴🥣

I was just taught to soak my beans in good hot water. Then the next morning drain the beans and prorboil the beans for about 25 min. Then drain wash and add to the pot bring them back to a boil adding your. Fatback and a big table spoon full of bacon grease. Now some love a hammock boiled along up to you. I also take a whole onion pealed and drop it in the pot. After you get them boiling turn them down and simmer them over low heat for 3 hours adding water if nessasary. When your whole onion is done your brand are ready. Neat trick to have . My mama taught me that
