My hair has always been baby fine and silky. Now in my older age it’s also thinning. I’d love to have enough hair for this braid. It’s very beautiful. And I’d wear it even though I’m in my fifties. I enjoy your videos as well. Thank you for sharing your skills.

SweetHearts Hair Also can you include something in the way of tips or supplements OR something for us older women growing our hair back in. In my culture~I'm Native; we don't cut our hair until a certain age. When I did, I had hair that I was able to sit on by the time I was 12. I decided wrongfully to cut it very short & then over the years it grew back some. One of our traditions is when you mourn you cut your hair depending how close you were to the person or even if you were once close, as in an ex spouse passes on. Yrs ago I had chosen to get a partial modified mohawk. It went from the sides of both ears, around the back and was a 3" high strip. It wasn't bald, I had it buzzed about 1'2 " close to my skin as a show of respect to my former family and I waa in mourning for some others. That hair and some more has grown back but theres sections that just WON'T grow. They grow a few inches then curl and snap off! The rest of my hair I'm trying to grow back back to or past the original length as is our tradition. It is stuck at the point of just about almost the middle of my back for almost 2 yrs no matter whatever ridiculous concoctions i've tried on it. I know it has nothing to do with my diet being bad or anything like that. I rarely drink, I don't do drugs, and everything I use is holistic...I only drink a few beers AND sodas on holidays or if I am at someones house who has soda. I stopped drinking soda about 3 yrs ago-believe me at 52; my partying days are far gone. I'm a very tired woman & I lead a very boring life now but I've got some great stories. I drink about a 1/2 gallon of water each day. I don't know what's stopped the growth but no all natural creams or anything else have worked. Please advise and/or please add something in your videos in for us old broads because I KNOW I'm not doing anything wrong here. I understand it slows down but to virtually stop is ridiculous. YES...every 6 to 8 weeks I trim the ends of my pretty much non-existent dead ends off cuz nothing is moving...just to do upkeep. All that is doing is making my hair shorter but at least it looks neater by a 1/8-1/4" each time. Also how do you lighten up grey hair, as opposed to it yellowing? I'm slowly making peace with my grey after decades of coloring even B4 I noticed any. Of course it came in right in front! Two thick bold strands, framing my face~thanks a lot. Please advise me how to fix this; I hate to make it MORE noticeable but that yellowing just makes it look sickly. Thank you for reading this, I appreciate it!

You do amazing styles! I really love this one!! And you do an amazing job describing, showing and really teaching the techniques required to do each style. Your tutorials are very easy to follow! There are many tutorials that I have to watch several times in order to understand what's happening, but not yours!😍 Which is why I have a request... There is a really cool style on a spanish speaking channel called "Colorin TV" the video is titled "trenza triple entrelazada | trenza paso a paso"...I was wondering if you could recreate this style and post a tutorial in English? Thanks! 😀

This is a dreamer’s video for girls with fine, silky hair. Apparently, I have fine hair but a lot per square inch? Whatever that means! All I know is that I have long hair but not enough of it to accomplish anything! And anything I try it ends up slipping back into straight limp strands! Oh extensions you ask? Those are for girls with medium thick hair! Because I don’t have thick enough hair to hide extensions! My buns and braids are a joke... have you ever seen a new born with that cute little pony tail on top of their head? Now imagine it 2ft longer... that’s my hair. You may be thinking... well at least it’s light weight right? Too light weight... where it’s always staticky and it lays limp against my head. I can’t even get it to lift up at the roots at the front of my face! I stopped going to salons for anything more than a trim because I think unless I pay big bucks down town, regular stylists can’t do simple requests to my hair, like getting it off of my face. I wish I knew a stylist like her... I feel like she would “boss” my limp strands! Ok I apologize for the rant but these are real fine haired girl problems.

I really like watching your videos but all the girls you have been working with got really thick hair and not everyone has thick hair as that and then the hairstyles don't look good at all. I tried loads of different hairstyles but they just don't work on my thin hair🙁
@heidicowie85197 жыл бұрын
Monika Winship do you use extensions? If not, you can also crimp your hair before you begin styling. It will make it look a bit textured, but you'll have more thickness and volume to work with.
@monikawinship9837 жыл бұрын
Heidi Cowie thank you for your advice. I do use extensions but very little. I don't know if it's possible to use extensions when doing plait? I know how to make the pony tail bigger but not how to make the hair on the top and sides look bigger. Maybe I need to watch some videos how to work with extensions.
