You ever consider trying offlane Murdock? I think his buckshot would be a pain in the ass for all the melee characters he'd go up against especially in the early game. Like I know it's probably not that competitively viable but you might be able to cook with it in a pubs games.

I wanted to wait for 1200 gold to get potent Staff, Dusk Stave isnt a very good component, getting Potent Staff asap is much better. No reason to waste gold on 150 mana component
