After how many miles should this be done? I have a 2017 1000-5 with 1200 miles. Going in for clutch update this weekend.

Can the clutch not being initialized cause slow shifts? I’ve replaced the number one clutch pack and the machine takes a long time to shift still and just cruising it won’t shift till 4500 rpm from 1st to second. It also free wheels for a half second going down hill on the 2nd to 1st down shift. However when you go to flog on it it shifts quickly like it should. Any input is appreciated

What if it runs for a few minutes and the mt at and dash don’t go off

Make sure you are waiting a few minutes for it to shut off. You can restart the process by shutting the Pioneer off and starting over. If it still hangs up you may need to see a dealer.

If the light was not on when you started, the unit either was not totally warm when you started or you did not wait long enough for it to complete update. Make sure vehicle totally warmed up and once process starts, do not touch it until complete.

@@clipzev123no6 The entire process will take about 5 minutes once the vehicle is warm. If there is an "L' or "U" in the instrumentation before you start, it is not warm enough to calibrate. You have to wait until it is totally warmed up before you retry. If you have tried it a couple times and think you are doing it correctly, there may be an issue with the machine.

I have a p1000-5 with only 170 miles. While riding today the engine stalled. It showed an “E” in the gear box. I believe the clutch got stuck in a high gear. I’ve tried the DCT relearn, but it didn’t help. What do I need to do?

It will probably have to go to a dealership for diagnosis.
