Hi,could you tell me what to do with the parking brake wire,do I need to connect it for the units other features to work even if I don't intend on using the dvd.I have an AVH Z5050BT. There seems to be some conjecture about whether in Australia just grounding the wire will make the dvd work while driving or do I need to get one of those micro pulse bypass units if I want to use the DVD in future. Thanks UPDATE,any DIY's in Australia just earth/ground the green park brake wire and all will be hunky dory. Just finished install and drove with dvd running, Bluetooth, android auto and settings all work sweet.

help Hi I have a problem I can not connect my huawei mate 10 lite to pioneer car radio Avh-z2000BT tells me to verify that the launcher and app are installed on the iPhone if the phone is locked to unlock it and reconnect it when it is safe and legal. but sometimes you connect to go autonomously and I do not understand why it goes like this.

Hey mate , I just got the 5050 , and can't stand the little graph thing in centre of screen ( you can see it around 11 mins ) can i get rid of that thing , its looks terrible ....

Was about to buy the AVH-Z5050BT for Android Auto use, but you mention you guy prefer Kenwood, which unit would you recommend? I don't care about digital radio, just Android Auto and a reversing camera.

The 5050 got another difference from the 2050 ! The 5050 actually got different components inside for better sound quality ! Like 80prs , etc . The 2050 doesn't have that type of components !

I prefer the DDX9017 has better touch screen the software is smoother I find and easier to use.
