Works also great with the djay pro android version ( purchased app ). First thing you gonna have to do is connecting it to windows on your pc in order to get it working on your smartphone and update the firmware if its need to. I use Google pixel 7 and it works pretty proper. It makes me so happy 😁

I have never tried a controller from a mobile phone and I have many doubts. Don't the waves look too small? Do you have to have the tracks on your phone or can you do it in streaming? Is it necessary to power the DDJ FLX4 with another USB or is it also powered from the cell phone as if it were a laptop?

@@pacotiniebla To me its the ideal setup. But i am not sure if its working with your phone. I took a guess actually but it works on my phone. How you set it up is with your phone powercable attached to the Pioneer controller and the usb cable that comes with the package. Its all usb type C connectors. Tracks stored on your smartphone can be loaded into the djay app pro but also from "Tidal" ( A streaming service as spotify ). Well hope you gonna enjoy it ! This setup is a flagship to me.

Hello, the DDJ is a better device than the FLX4, but I wouldn't buy it because Pioneer may stop supporting it and you may not be able to use it with Rekordbox 7. The "successor" of the DDJ800 is the FLX6, which is somewhat cheaper.

Hi, it’s a very personal decision. Here are the following pros/cons: Pioneer FLX4: It has the workflow of the mixers and decks you’ll find in clubs since most decks and mixers are Pioneer. It can be used with rekordbox (Pioneer’s software) and Serato. These companies are financially stable, frequently release updates, and new products. For example, Rekordbox 7 was just released. It’s cheaper. Fewer channels, fewer FX. It has FX pads and a sampler. Traktor Kontrol S3 MK3: It’s a somewhat more professional setup, with 4 channels and balanced audio outputs like XLR. Pads with distinguishable colors. It’s more expensive. Native Instruments has not been in its best financial state for some years, usually doesn’t release updates for its products, nor new products. The mixer was launched in 2019 versus the FLX4, which was launched at the end of 2022. Looping on the Traktor is done by pressing a button and turning it. On the FLX4, it’s done by pressing an in button and an out button. The new Opus Quad has integrated the function to loop like on Traktor. As I mentioned, it’s a personal decision that depends on: Whether you want to learn in the Pioneer or Traktor environment, The amount of money you want to spend, Whether you need 2 or 4 channels. P.S.: As a curiosity, Pioneer DJ has recently changed its name to AlphaTheta.

How do you actually connect the controller too rekord box it’s not working

The controller connects via USB to the PC. Be careful because it has two connections on the back, one that only powers the device and another that powers+transfers data. If you connect it to the PC you have to use option 2, power + data. You also have to connect the RCA output to the speakers. I hope I have helped you!

When choosing between the Pioneer FLX4 and the Numark Platinum FX4, it really comes down to what you’re looking for. The FLX4 gets you into the Pioneer ecosystem, which is the standard in most clubs, so it’s great if you want to get comfortable with the gear you'll see in a lot of pro setups. On the flip side, the Numark Platinum FX4 has four channels and a longer pitch fader, giving you more control and options for mixing. If you want to stick with industry-standard gear, go with the FLX4. But if you’re after more channels and precise pitch control to make better beatmaking, the Platinum FX4 might be the way to go

Yes, there could be different reasons. 1 If you listen to audio through your headphones from the master, turn the cue/master knob. 2 if you do not hear audio through the headphones it may be because the sound card you are using is the one from your PC and not the one from the FLX4, check it in recordbox setting. Are you using the RCA audio output, or do you play the audio through the PC speakers?

I don't use it with Bluetooth, but you probably have to connect the headphone cable to the device you have connected via USB (laptop or PC). I recommend that you use the RCA audio output of the flx4, you will have less latency.@@GokhanTunckoyuncu

Que mixer A&H y que controlador tienes actualmente?, la Flx4 esta bien para empezar y para conocer el entorno pioneer pero el tacto es mas bien de juguete, depende lo que quieras. Yo la tengo para llevarla a fiestas pequeñas o lugares donde no tenga acceso a corriente eléctrica.

@@quevedocabreraa Los Jog no giran apenas, el pitch es muy corto, tienes que mirar a la pantalla para saber que fx estas poniendo etc.

A ver para empezar la FLX4 esta bien además con ella puedes aprender a hacer beatmaking (cuadrar las canciones con el pitch y el jog), cosa que con la K2 no haces porque usarás el SYNC. Es más cómoda la pioneer para poner los Hot Cue y estás en el entorno de Pioneer por si en algún momento te dicen de pinchar en una sala. La Xone 23 + K2 es más profesional que la FLX4, muchos dj tops pinchan con una K2 + Mixer, pero es un equipo más caro ya que si no es la xone 23C la que tienes y es la 23 tienes que tener una tarjeta de sonido y el precio de la K2 sola es el mismo que la de la FLX4

Esta lo bueno que tienes es que aprendes a pinchar con pioneer que es lo que te vas a encontrar en todas las cabinas y también si tienes tidal puedes pinchar directamente desde recordbox con las canciones y playlist de Tidal
