thanks so much for the video. back then i was so enamored on mixing and DJing, but everything was so expensive and i was too stupid to find good learning materials lol. 20 years later and earning my own money, i could finally continue that dream and this looks like a great beginner tool.

How are you finding it 1 year later? I'm concerned about the durability of entry level controllers. Any problems with the jogwheel, fader, suddenly not working? Feedback would be most appreciated from someone like yourself who has had it a while.

Good Review! And agree these days u can do allot for a little nowadays. I got a Rane one for my all in one. This is a very practical beginner level controller and to your point you can really do everything most Djs need.

Why is my RCA cable when either plugged into aux or to RCA jack in speakers makes the scrathy sound. I got new RCA and new controller for 2nd time. Ease help. I appreciate it.

Thank you! We think its the best entry level controller and think you will be happy with your decision. We have them in stock here if you are interested! - deckademics.com/product/pioneer-ddj-rev1-dj-controller-for-serato-lite/. As fare as using stems, you can midi map pads to use the stems feature. Let us get back to you shorty on whether or not you can replace one of the pad modes as stems like on other mixers.

Yes, you can replace either the Loop Roll or Sampler pad modes with the Stems pad mode in the Serato settings. Happy mixing!

Not really a wobble, what you see is just the slightly offset top sticker that I mention later in the video. Good eye though!

decks 3&4 why can you only here through headphones but can’t play through speakers

Since the Rev1 has only 2 channel/volume faders i think The software Wants you to bring down the A side channel fader in other to to bring up the volume and sound of the C side channel out the Master. So turn down 🎚️channel 1 completely, switch to deck 3, Play the song and then turn up🎚️ You should try it. Let me know if it worked.

Open Serato settings and adjust the Braking stop time on the DJ preferences tab.
