Nice stuff I’m coming out of retirement just for the love . Grabbed a Rane 4 about a month ago hope to get some livestream and vids up soon. It’s real nice to hear someone playing stuff I can relate to, I really enjoy your mixes. Imma stay tuned you may be able to answer some questions for me some day soon. I’m Tryn to go remix route also that’s t the way I mix and seem to help get around the flags. Why all that consistent touching of faders and jog? Never understand why some DJ’s feel the need to act like they are constantly on the board. Just let it play and do your thing when you actually have to.

@@techusmaximus7102 not sure why other DJ’s you have witnessed does it… but to answer your question… if the blend start to fall off you have to correct it right and the only way to do that is to speed up or slow down the jog wheel or platter and I’ve always had a habit of pushing the faders open, been doing that since I’ve been djing from 1988 till now.. the mixer my uncle gave to me when I was a kid channel faders would always fall cause of the slant the mixer had , and that would cut volume and I’ve ran that mixer for a good 5 years so for me it is a habit to make sure the faders are all the way open , I’ll work on that for you.

I don’t think it’s an act. I think it’s just a style and maybe he is checking to make sure that the faders are all the way. Sometimes they are not.
