I just bought a pair of cdj 2000's and the DJM 2000, expensive but so worth it, every time I think I've got it figured out find something new, if you've got the cash I highly recommend it!

Can't help you too much with kit but I can tell you that if you put up the pitch of a tune by 0.8% it will go up exactly 1bpm. This works for each 0.8% you put it up by. (1.6% = 2bmp etc.)

Hi, I recently purchased a pioneer djm2000 mixer and i've hooked up 2 turntables and 2 cdj's to my serato box sl4 and from the outputs of the serato box to the inputs of the mixer. Plus I have connected a microphone to the mic port on the mixer. My question here is what if also want to connect a second microphone like a cordless mic. How would I go about connecting a second mic on the mixer?

Ok i'm having an issue with the booth monitor level knob on the pioneer djm2000. When I turn it all the way up, my booth monitor speakers sound very low. My booth monitor speakers used to sound loud on my old mixer which was the rane rotary mixer. When i turn the rane booth level knob up halfway it would sound loud, but not the same with the pioneer djm 2000 mixer. Any idea how i can resolve this issue?

How does the connectivity work if your getting nexus cdj 2000's? does it read the cdj's if the mixer sf a djm 2000 not a djm 2000 nexus.

Dj ing and making music are two diff things but can be integrated during producing. Fl vs Dj stuff. No one can really answer this for you. Its all your preference. Do you have a million to spend or a hundred? Are you doing this to wast time, or do u have a passion for it and want to push the limits of common ideas? If your going to DJ buy a cheep duel deck cd player and learn to count BPMs and match beats. When you start mixing in key and get your beats locked you will begin to understand.
