yes, the LAN connections are to share info like tempo for syncing up features, not audio

@TheDjElectricz I feel like the only 2 features that i would find practical use for on the DJM 900 that the 800 doesn't have are the White Noise effect and the Full kill EQ. All those other new effecs, i don't really know when i would use them...

so if the dj can come straight in with his lappy and plug it in the top usb port, to use serato etc, what happens when the next dj wants to use the usb hub? should he bring one cd in or a usb just in case? just to get one track out of the way, get rid of other guys setup, then plug his in?

u dont need the audiointerface, the mixer has his own soundcard, you just connect scratch pro on ur pc with usb to the mixer

Quick Question ---> I've got a traktor kontrol s2 and an OK laptop, i want to start performing live but i cant because the software keeps stuttering and freezing, which will obviously muck up the set! i was wondering if its my computer and i need to buy a better spec laptop, or if its the software itself!? any suggestions?

@DjGrafter94 Yes Mate you would need to buy a LAN hub, and the reason why they did not put 2 LAN inputs is just waste of space. I believe it is easier because think about in this way, when you use a hub you can connect all of your CDJ (more then 2) and even to your laptop so it is much more easier.

I still like the look of this mixer over the djm 2000. I know a mixer isn't just about its looks but in my opinion its a pretty big part of the product. The touch screen on the 2000 doesn't look that great to me.

dont use a laptop, thats a suggestion no 1. or if u do use peoneer recordbox software. u navigate ur tracks through pc, but audio processing is done by cdjs

udont need so much money. u can mix just as well with cdj400s or even some numark cd players, and mixer can be smth like djm250. it wont be over 1000$ if u know what to get
