FYI on my idatalink I did not plug into an aux jack and all of my functions work perfectly. I only used the 4 pin connector on the back of my pioneer and everything functions properly. 2012 suburban ltz with rear entertainment and pioneer avh-2550nex

First off, I do own this unit. It is installed in my 2003 Dodge Ram. I can't understand why for the price of this unit and with all the extra room and main in dash insert that they can't incorporate a sim card so you can add a cell phone carrier? I mean come on! You can buy a low budget cell phone which would be a quarter the size and get more features.

I have this model. One issue I have is that Widgets does not give me the option to add SiriusXM. You can have a total of 3 Widgets, I have Google Maps on the left, upper right is phone, lower right is Spotify. I cannot figure out how to replace Spotify with SiriusXM.

please help me if you can! I have a DMH-WT8600NEX and am having issues with it. I have updated it to the most recent firmware. Where can I get support for this? Everytime I start my truck is tries to do an update or something and asks me to connect " a USB mass storage device with audio update file". Also I use Apple Carplay and everytime I start my truck up I have to disconnect my phone in the connection settings and reconnect it or else it won't play music. With these 2 problems it takes me up to 5 minutes sometimes to get it setup and ready to play music every time I start my truck, I have to wait for the usb mass storage message thing to play which also causes a little pop up that doesn't go away until the message is over. And I also can't go into connection settings while driving so I have to wait parked until I go through this whole process. It's quite frustrating.

Wow that sounds frustrating especially because the unit is pretty expensive. Ok I think there is something wrong with the unit and needs to be sent in for repair or replacement. Ok call pioneer tech and explain what’s going on with it. They might know a trick to fix it but if not they can guide you through the repair process… here’s their # [phone] ok good luck and hope this helps.

I just had this installed and the head unit does not have “Bass Boost” im really bummed about this. I use the bass boost to get the right thump outta my two DD 700 series woofers.

Yeah pioneer stop sending sleeves on double din radios a while ago and now this! For as much as it is they should include it. But maybe I can help. What kind of car are you installing it in? And which kit do you have?
