Hey, I have a 2006 Nissan Altima with Bose and I recently purchased this radio. I was wondering do I really need to get a antenna adapter ? or can I just use the original adapter that I took out of the stock radio

For the actual stereo, no. But for the Bluetooth to work then yes you do. If you don't have a smartphone save the money and don't get bluetooth

+Jose Rodríguez you'' have to buy a wiring harness for your specific vehicle. Try to get one that includes an antenna adapter already

Curious as to what car you installed this in. I looks a little deep and slightly off-kilter. I see someone suggested removing the demo sticker, which is a good move. Crutchfield is a great place for all these folks to get their questions answered. I just bought a 2006 Toyota Highlander and the stock unit (with CD AND cassette!) has to go. Thinking about this unit or possibly spending $100 more for a DVD unit. So affordable compared to 10 years ago! Thanks for the video.

It's in a pontiac vibe 2008. Have since removed the sticker. Yeah I wasn't thrilled with the placement but couldn't get it the way I wanted no matter what I did.

You have the pwr wire and the acc wire mixed up. Red power wire always on and yellow accessory wire only has power when car is on

+Steven Sampson yup but sometimes the built in are not that good cause u gotta speak very loud so I figure putting thr mic close to u helps a bit, but I got my radio without this mic :(
