*It's a big heavy motor **enjoyable.fishing** recommend. I was pleased to find a resettable breaker included. I like the handle having a flat on top indicating neutral.*

Should have CNCed an aluminum plate to mount to the boat that had more area to bolt down then mount trolling motor to that. That setup won’t last long with all the torque on it.

It will be fine

They installed the base plate backwards at the beginning, and probably couldn't get the shaft to drop vertically in order to align. Then they corrected it but didn't restart the video. I have a 202 Sportfish, but this doesn't inspire confidence.

I love my Pioneer boat but that install looked iffy. I am going to put some aluminum plate under as a base to make it more rigid.

I saw this too. If they used screws then what is the purpose of the huge 4 1/2" hole they drilled?

You guys were not paying attention. The other guy was hold the nut on the bottom. They were just tightening from the top.

Still a lot of flex... Needs a angle under the outer edge to support it more. Wouldnt be happy with that job flexing the gunnel if it were my boat.

Someone did mine like that and it flexed so bad that the screws were coming loose all the time. I had to have someone put a stainless plate under the puck so it would stay secured. No I have a big ole ugly piece of stainless sticking out the front of my new boat. I will eventually take it to someone that know what the hell they’re doing to fix it right and plug all the holes. Be careful who you let do stuff to your boat.
